Triumph Modular Teams with the
Joe Andruzzi Foundation

Triumph Modular has teamed up with the Joe Andruzzi Foundation to fight cancer. The Joe Andruzzi Foundation is tackling cancer's impact by providing financial assistance for patients and their families as well as funding pediatric brain cancer research.

Joe Andruzzi played 10 seasons in the NFL, including five seasons with the New England Patriots and contributing to three Super Bowl Championships. Joe and his wife Jen were active locally during Joe's career with the Patriots and that included visiting patients to lift their spirits. Meeting a young man named C. J. Buckley a month after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor touched their hearts in an unusual way. C. J. and his family became extended members of the Andruzzi family and his passing left a huge hole in their hearts. In 2003, the Andruzzi's started the C. J. Buckley Brain Cancer Research Fund at Children's Hospital Boston; years before battling cancer became personal.

On May 30, 2007, Joe was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Burkitt's lymphoma, predicted to double in size within 24 hours. With several months of aggressive chemotherapy treatments at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Woman's Hospital, Joe was told there was no sign of cancer in his body and remains cured today.

Ironically in 2001, Triumph's Operations Manager, Terry Buckley (no relation to the Andruzzis' friend) welcomed a new nephew, also named C. J. Buckley, who was born with Down Syndrome. Then in March 2007, C.J. was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), but similar to Joe, his chemotherapy treatment worked and his cancer remains in remission today. Coincidently, Terry first met Joe Andruzzi at a UCANE meeting and again when preparing for the C. J. Spring Swing golf fundraiser for his nephew. Joe was gracious enough to help, especially upon learning of this uncanny name coincidence and knowing that they both persist in helping others in need. This friendship led to Triumph's mission to link business with social action.

Triumph is committed to donating a percentage of each order placed to the Joe Andruzzi Foundation. We're inspired to bring more awareness to their great work. Therefore, we encourage our customers to help us in this endeavor and donate as well. Every dollar you give goes directly to helping a cancer patient and their family.
