Cliff Cort formed Triumph in 1981, when he began leasing road and storage trailers. In the early days, Cliff delivered the rental equipment himself, but soon he began making acquisitions. In the late 1990's, regional acquisitions included mobile offices and multi-section commercial modular buildings. In 2007, Triumph sold the road and storage trailer division to Premier Trailer Leasing to focus on the office and modular building fleets and sustainable modular building for the future.
Triumph now maintains one of the largest fleets of container storage, office and modular equipment in the Northeast. Triumph's size and stability ensure a broad scope of services, extensive inventory and the infrastructure to support first-rate service. The fleet is continually growing and is currently made up of approximately 1500 mobile offices and modular buildings and 1100 portable storage containers. Triumph's construction services division incorporates years of experience in standard modular installations with comprehensive services including foundation planning and site restoration.
