Repurposed Modular Office Building Delivered Ahead of Schedule

This 7,200-square-foot modular office building, now serving as the Human Resources department for Tufts University, showcases the flexibility and sustainability of modular construction. Originally used as a temporary childcare center for Harvard University, the structure was later relocated to Tufts to support their Student Information System before being transformed into a professional office space for university staff.

Triumph Modular managed the renovation, coordinating closely with Tufts’ project team, architects, and designers to tailor the layout and finishes to professional office use. The repurposed modular building retained its green features—including energy-efficient systems and award-winning design elements recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council and Modular Building Institute. Completed 30 days ahead of schedule, this project is a proven example of how high-performance modular buildings can serve multiple institutions over time.

Triumph Modular delivers high-quality modular buildings for schools, businesses, and public agencies across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest. Whether you’re expanding classroom space, adding a jobsite office, or planning a long-term facility, our modular solutions provide speed, flexibility, and code-compliant performance.
