LEED® is the rating standard developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for commercial, institutional, high-rise residential construction and major renovation work. The system evaluates and recognizes performance in accepted green design categories utilizing proven technologies. LEED® emphasizes a whole-building approach that provides collaborative and integrated design and construction processes and optimizes environmental and economic factors.

Modular building is inherently green, yet many users are still unaware of these benefits.

Because modular buildings are constructed in a factory controlled environment, materials are protected from the environmental elements, reducing the potential for high levels of moisture being trapped in the new construction. This process of construction is a safer alternative to on-site construction.
