Dudley Street Neighborhood Charter School Boston

This project included extensive improvements to the existing school including all new sprinklers and alarms to three levels. The addition was a custom site-built connecting link and a new 7,000 square-foot brick-sided modular classroom building. Featured construction elements included removing existing parking lots, installing new drainage, sewer, and water lines to city utilities, and repaving the entire site. The brick siding was also applied at the site.  This project was roughly 70% built off-site, with the design and procurement of eight modular sections each 12’ x 71’ in size transported from the modular manufacturing facility. HVAC systems are state-of-the-art York rooftop units with efficiency ratings of 15. Coordination of the modular construction occurred concurrently with site activities. The project was delivered on time and for the stated budget.
